To turn off Javascript in Firefox:

Tools->Options->Content, uncheck the "Enable Javascript" checkbox.

To turn off Javascript in IE:

• Install Firefox.

• Delete the IE icon.

• Close IE

• Open Firefox

• See "To turn off Javascript in Firefox"

Don't use IE unless you like random malicious strangers having control of your computer.
